Recycling Poultry Litter

Ever wonder how poultry litter makes it from the barn to the field?

95% of poultry litter is recycled & reused according to ChickenCheckin.com

We start the process of moving litter out of the barn by windrowing it into larger piles. Next the skid steer is used to push those piles out of the barn through a large end door. A loader is then used to load the litter into tractor trailers and dump trucks. The litter is transported to the field where it will be applied as an organic fertilizer for crops.
